Buying a property in Turkey remotely is possible now!
Buying a property in Turkey remotely from abroad has become possible for a foreign investor. To clarify, this can happen through the real estate registration agencies legalized by the Turkish government in some of its embassies abroad.
Consequently, all the legal procedures are carried out remotely, without the need for the buyer to travel to Turkey.
Countries permissible for buying a property in Turkey remotely
The Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning has embarked on a project to open real estate registration agencies in its consulates in 10 countries, including: Azerbaijan, France, Belgium and Arab countries. Above all, as a result of high demand of its citizens and residents for the real estate sector in Turkey.
As a result, foreign and Turkish investors in those countries are able to buy and sell properties in Turkey remotely, through these agencies.
Whereas previously, it was necessary for the seller and the buyer to meet at the real estate registration directorate nearest to property’s location exclusively in Turkey.
